Description
Useful Information
edge-grain serving board crafted from carefully selected polluted beech and larch, with accents of wenge, padauk and tiger wood.
Stained, also known as "spalting," is a natural process in which wood undergoes subtle changes in color due to interaction with microorganisms. This results in a unique pattern that gives the wood character and authenticity. After careful treatment, this beech wood plank radiates a beautiful, warm color, beautifully accented by the pale larch wood with its distinctive stripe pattern along the length of the plank.
Outwardly, there is a pattern of alternating padauk and tigerwood that provides visual contrast. One has a deep red color, the other a subtle light orange. Two highly durable tropical hardwoods.
Be sure to check out the matching large end-grain cutting board.
