Line Design

Mainly edge-grain glued cutting boards with horizontal lines. Also possible in a end-grain glued and vertical. Available within any budget. Can go from simple design to more complex in pattern and wood species.

Butcher Block

General term for end-grain glued cutting boards, often with a block pattern. Ranges from a cutting block from a single species, to complex (a)symmetrical patterns.

Zig-Zag

Almost always a edge-grain glued cutting board, end-grain possibly in padauk. Always two bondings required. The zig-zag angle is freely determined. Often a central design surrounded by a basic wood. Correct alignment is crucial.

Diamond

Always end-grain bonded. Multiple bonding and correct planning and design necessary to achieve a diamond design. This translates into a higher price. Quality and aesthetically pleasing cutting boards, a real eye-catcher in the kitchen.

Line-Shift

Can both end-grain and edge-grain glued. This design defines cutting boards where the lines do not continue straight, but there is a certain elegant interplay of lines defining the plllank.
